How it Works
Painting pottery at Clay Café is easy and fun for all ages.
Each guest pays a studio fee of R45 per person, which includes:
- Paints
- Tools
- Firing
- Glazing
You then choose a ceramic item to paint, with prices ranging from R80 to R480, depending on the piece selected.
While you paint, you can enjoy a delicious meal, coffee, sweet treat, or refreshing drink from our menu. Whether you’re staying for breakfast, lunch, or an afternoon outing, it’s a relaxed experience that the whole family can enjoy.

Clay Café Hout Bay
Nestled beneath beautiful trees and surrounded by nature, offers a peaceful escape for both kids and adults.
Children can enjoy a large outdoor play area featuring:

Clay Café Century City
Previously known as Clay Café in the City on Bree Street, Clay Café Century City has moved to its beautiful new home in Ratanga Park.
The new venue offers:
- A spacious outdoor area
- A kids’ jumping pillow
- A jungle gym
It’s the perfect setting for families looking to enjoy fresh air, good food, and creative fun together.
Clay Café Century City is Halaal friendly, uses no pork products, and all meat is sourced from Halaal-certified manufacturers, making it a great option for a wide range of guests.
