Book Your Table at Clay Cafe

We do not take bookings by phone. Please make your booking online.

If your party is larger than 10, please request a booking by completing our Party Enquiries Form. One of our team members will email you to discuss availability and requirements.

Before completing your booking, please note:

As we are a ceramic painting venue, we do require at least half of your group to participate in the painting, especially during school holidays, weekends and public holidays. However, you are welcome to join us during the week for a meal only.

• All bookings are set at 2.5-3 hours. 
• A 10% service fee is added to tables of 8 or more.
• Email us to pre-order your catering. 

Booking for functions or parties?

We accommodate for various functions and parties. Please request a booking for your function on our Parties & Functions page. 

The Clay Café reserves the right to seat tables where it is most convenient for the overall flow of the café.

Table Booking Information

You can easily update your information should anything change on your side. Please write any information that could make your time here more enjoyable in the ‘request’ section on the booking widget.

We are open Everyday, 9am-5pm.

Cost: Please view the Shop page for an idea of prices and see pictures of items to paint. Standard rate of R40 studio fee (includes 3 paints, firing and glazing) PLUS the value of the selected item/s. This can all be settled at the end of your painting session on the day. Please view our menu to see what we have available.*

All items are then ready for collection 3 weeks after they have been painted. Please collect within 3 months or your items will be given to a charity.

*No outside food is allowed.
