Unlike traditional pet shelters, ARO operates as a welfare veterinary hospital service, focusing on essential areas of animal welfare, including sterilisation and primary healthcare. With an animal hospital based in Ottery and two Mobile Clinics. ARO is able to extend their services to nearby communities. ARO brings much-needed relief directly to where it’s needed most.

Ways to Support ARO’s Vital Work

  • Donate to the Sterilisation Drive: Your contribution of R550 towards the Sterilisation Drive goes a long way in preventing overpopulation.
  • Donate Secondhand Goods: Support ARO’s Charity Shops by donating resalable secondhand goods. They even offer a free collection service for your convenience.
  • Host Collection Tins/ Newspaper Boxes: Hosting collection tins or boxes for newspapers helps provide vital support to ARO’s animal hospital.
